Tabika Perpaduan Luyang (Tabika), under the purview of Kawasan Rukun Tetangga Luyang (KRT Luyang) had held its first graduation ceremony recently at its kindergarten located at Taman Jindo.
Established in the beginning of this year, this is the first graduation for the Tabika which produced 6 children who had completed the pre-school education.
Each of the children received a graduation certificate and a medal for remembrance to mark the completion of their kindergarten education.
“Parents and teachers are playing an important role in the childhood education, a good education starts from young helps laid a good foundation for the children.” Says Lim Beng Chai, Chairman Jawatankuasa Penyelaras Tabika Perpaduan Luyang (JPTP Luyang).
Benny Quek, Chairman KRT Luyang in his speech thanked the teachers for their efforts to turn the Tabika from a new empty place to now a fully equipped kindergarten. He also thanked the support from the parents who sent their children to the Tabika which has a good mixture of the 3 major races, that are Chinese, Malay and Kadazan. The children are able to interact in a multiracial and multicultural environment.
“ Integration and unity, the fundamental elements for a 1-Malaysia concept, should start from young. Children from different races can learn more on tolerance and acceptance to each other when they interact together. This helps in our multiracial society which further enhances a harmonious and united society. Our role to educate the children to live in and achieve a harmonious society is vital”, says Encik Madavan, Pegawai Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu, Jabatan Perpaduan Negara Dan Integrasi Nasional.
The celebration includes giving of prices to the rest of the Tabika children to mark the completion of their studies for one year. It also includes the giving of certificates to the JPTP Luyang committee members for their efforts and contribution to the Tabika.
Parents were invited to witness the auspicious occasion.
Also present in the ceremony were Chia Miu Lee, vice-chairperson of JPTP Luyang and her committee, and Wong Kee Yu JP, vice-chairman of KRT Luyang and his committee.
路阳国民团结局幼儿园
举行首年度毕业典礼
由路阳区睦邻计划委员会(睦邻)所管辖下位於京都园的路阳国民团结局幼儿园日前举行了毕业典礼。
该幼儿园是於今年初成立，就读人数有20名。今次毕业典礼也是首年度的毕业典礼。由此，睦邻及路阳国民团结局幼儿园委员会（幼委会）及老师同人都非常重视是屈的典礼。首年度的毕业人数为6名。
“接受学前啟蒙教育对于一个幼儿的成长非常重要；而老师与家长在这方面都扮演着非常重要的角色。路阳国民团结局幼儿园给予幼儿们一个舒适，无压力，团结友善的学习环境。幼儿们能在这样的情况下渡过他们难忘的童年及接受学前啟蒙教育，是一个好的开始。” 幼委会主席林明财在典礼上这么说。
“感谢老师们的付出，及家长们的支持，使得幼儿园从一所空荡荡的新场所变成如今一切设备都齐全的场所。幼儿们也得於在一个健全优美的情况下受教育。难得的是幼儿园的人数也包括三大民族，即华裔，友族及嘉达山族。大家都能不分种族， 能在一片融和气氛下互相学习及交流。”睦邻主席郭义海在典礼上这么指出。
“国民团结，相互交流，应从小做起。这是响应一个马来西亞的概念，也是政府致力促进全民的团结一致的努力。各族幼儿能在一起玩耍，互相学习，无形中也让他们学习容忍及接受他族的文化礼仪习俗，对於推动国民团结扮演着重要的角色。我们也要教育孩子们多多与他族作亲善交流，以期达致一个和谐的社会。”
国民团结统合局亜庇区官员马达文在致词中如是指出。
每位毕业的幼儿们也获颁发毕业奖状及奖牌，以誌留念。其他的幼儿们也获得奖品以誌鼓励。庆典也包括颁发奖品予在亜庇区图画比赛中取得优异成绩的幼儿们，及颁发奖状予路阳国民团结局幼儿园委员会的成员。庆典並有餐点招待及儿童游戏节目助兴，最后在一片欢乐的气氛下结束。
受邀出席是日典礼有家长外，还有路阳国民团结局幼儿园副主席谢妙妮及其委员们，与路阳睦邻计划委员会副主席黄继有局绅及其委员们。
