TABIKA PERPADUAN LUYANG OPENS CLASS FOR 2ND YEAR
Tabika Perpaduan Luyang (Tabika), under the control of Jabatan Perpaduan Negara Dan Integrasi Nasional (JPNIN) and supervision of Kawasan Rukun Tetangga Luyang (KRT Luyang), starts class as the new year begins.
This is the 2nd year of class since the kindergarten, located at Taman Jindo, commenced class last year.
KRT Luyang Chairman Benny Quek had visited the Tabika on the 1st day of class and shared a moment of joy with the excited children as they start a new beginning in their life. This year there are 8 new children registered, together with the 17 old children, there is a total of 25 children in the class. The Tabika is located near a playground with appealing and quiet environment that is suited for a learning place.
The children is made up of a good racial combination, being 13 Chinese, 10 Malays and 2 kadazans. This complies to the 1 Malaysia Concept with which the children will learn and understand the cultures of other races. With the integration in place, it helps to attain a society of unity, harmony and goodwill when the children grow up.
The kindergarten runs under the Education department’s syallabus with lessons from 8.00am to 12.00pm Mondays to Friday. Since it is under the government purview, all facilities are provided by the government with only a minimal of RM10 payable as school fee. The children are provided with 2 meals a day at tea time and lunch hour. Besides, vitamin is also provided as supplement to ensure the required nourishment is acquired.
Besides Benny Quek, those visited the kindergarten included vice-chairman Wong Kee Yu, JP; Jawatankuasa Tabika Perpaduan Luyang chairman Lim Beng Chai, vice-chairman Chia Miu Lee and the committee members.
路阳国民团结局幼稚园
欢欣进入第二学年
由国民团结局属下管辖,並由路阳睦邻计划委员会(睦邻)所协办的路阳国民团结局幼稚园也与其他学校一样经在日前开始了新的学年。
这是该幼稚园开始第二学年度的课程。该幼稚园经已开办了一年，它是於去年初成立的，是座落於路阳金都园（TAMAN JINDO）。
睦邻主席郭义海於开学第一日巡视了该幼稚园，並与老师家长作了一番交流。至目前为止，共有新生八名就读，联同旧生十七名共有二十五名就读。郭主席称该处环境优美宁静，旁为游乐场所，是非常适合小朋友学习的地方。
这二十五名幼儿包括了13名华裔，10名友族及2名嘉达山族，充分体现了一个马来西亚的理念。这多元种族的结构有助於促进幼儿们互相学习並了解他族的文化，灌输幼儿们一个与他族融合的理念，俾使幼儿们长大后能生活在一个团结和蔼安宁的社会里。
幼稚园的课程是按照政府教育局所规定的教学制度下进行。一切教材与课程是以教育局的制度所编排的，确保幼稚园有一定的教育水平。该幼稚园的各种设备及师资,均是政府所提供。
上课时间为早上八点至中午十二时。因为是政府全资助的学府，幼稚园只象徴式徴收区区每月十零吉的学费；且每日於九点供应茶点及十一点过后供应午餐。除此之外，尚有维他命供应给小朋友，以让小朋友都得到充分的营养。
除了郭主席外，当日出席见证新生上课的尚有睦邻副主席黄继有局绅， 委员萧俊仁，路阳国民团结局幼稚园委员会主席林明财，副主席谢妙妮，委员古燕如及万佩玉。
